Louder
Love Letter Day 9: I need you to believe
Love Letter Day 9.
Ancient Greeks believed the seat of intelligence was in the diaphragm. Mine is full of cool air. I need it to live up to its power.
I want to be louder and for that to happen my diaphragm needs to be full. I want to be louder, and I mean sure, I have loud energy. I speak up, am articulate, take space, get drunk. I want to be shambolic so that what you hear is unforgettable. Frenetic energy comes from the disorder of the diaphragm, but this is the sound of me getting louder which means going untethered.
Can you hear me? That’s how loud I need to be. Loud enough not for you to hear, but for you to believe.
