The difference between us—me and others—means the world to me. The difference between us—you and me—is but a distance I mean to franchise. The difference between each and every one of us is the breath I am forcing you to take, to taste the edge of the universe. And where is that, after all? I find myself trapped in defining us in so many different variations only to learn you do not need a distinction. If I could learn to flatten us, then perhaps I would finally understand how to become you.
