Apostrophe
Love is an apostrophe
Love Letter Day 31
The apostrophe is a sign of faith. We are entrusted to understand what is not said does not deny its being heard. Its truncation keeps the meaning safe. It is meant to indicate possession. It can cue us to breathe. It can mark a passage of time. I write as if to speak when you are not present. It holds your place because you are always right there.
